This wine comes from a farm that will always be a very unique and beautiful place.

Lithos Wines was created on a Somerset West estate shaped by mountain air, sea breeze, and time. When a Cape Eagle Owl returned to the land after many silent years, it became our symbol, watching over the vines, the cellar, and every vintage that followed.

The farm has since been sold.
The Pinotage vineyards that defined Lithos were removed.
While grapes continue to grow on the land, the Lithos wines will never be made again.

What remains is a final cellar release of Cape Blend and Syrah, each bottle carrying a signed owl artwork and the last expression of Lithos as a place and a brand.

We are releasing these bottles quietly, starting at R100 per bottle, as part of a phased release. As remaining stock becomes rarer, pricing will increase.

If you open one, you are not just drinking wine.
You are holding the last chapter of a very unique and beautiful place.

Good morning

Great news we’re running a special on the last 1000 cases of our lithos wine!

We finally set up a website for you to be able to order from. Please could you have a look and order some from us.

We have Cape Blend 2014 and 2015 and we have Shiraz a full run from 2013 to 2016.

The wines are tasting amazing, and of course this is the last time ever they will be available for sale because we’ll never make them again!

Good Evening- We are in search of a private tutor with a significant background in teaching Neurodiverse learners. We have recently embarked on the homeschooling journey with our GrandSon, a 9-year-old currently in Grade 3, who needs to bridge to Grade 4. Your role as a tutor is very important, as we envision you spending 3 hours in the morning with him, leading the main teaching for the day and providing support in his online curriculum.
We need candidates with experience to get in touch and help us on this journey. We are willing to travel to a tutor's premises or have them come to our home learning set up at our house. We would prefer Somerset West as we are based here but may consider Stellenbosch, strand and Gordons bay

We are currently using cambrilearn, so we would prefer a candidate with experience in it.

Please only contact us if you have experience and specifically with neurodiverse children - a ex-school teacher would be great.

PRIVATE HOMESCHOOL TUTOR / TEACHER VACANCY

Location: Somerset West
Starting Date: 6 May 2024
Hours: 09h30 - 12h30 (Mon - Fri) - During School terms
Students Age: 9 years old
Curriculum: CambriLearn Grade 3, teacher must have experience with online learning and curriculum creation; if you have not been responsible for teaching children, then don't apply
Salary: Negotiable based on teaching experience and neuro-diverse qualifications ranges from R200 to R275 per hour - fixed 3 hours per day

Only candidates with teaching experience with this grade level and a passion for working with neurodiverse children, a unique and valued skillset, will be considered.

The Role is on-site in Somerset West - so if you are not based in Somerset West, then don't apply -
