Send us the quantity you want, we add your order to the list, and once the supplier truck is full, the load gets delivered to us for collection.

🔥 BBQ Smoked Pork Ribs That Go Hard on Flavour 🔥
These ribs are sticky, smoky, saucy, and basically guaranteed to shut everyone up at the braai. Save this one.

🍖 BBQ Smoked Pork Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:
•30 ml (2 Tbsp) sunflower oil
•1 onion, peeled and chopped
•10 ml (2 tsp) Robertsons Crushed Garlic
•500 ml (2 cups) tomato sauce
•125 ml (½ cup) chutney
•125 ml (½ cup) soy sauce
•45 ml (3 Tbsp) Robertsons Braai & Grill Spicy BBQ
•60 ml (¼ cup) brown sugar
•1.5 kg smoked or pre-cooked ribs

Method:
1️⃣ Heat oil in a pot and sauté onions until soft.
2️⃣ Add garlic, cook a minute, then add tomato sauce, chutney, and soy sauce. Simmer 15 minutes.
3️⃣ Add Spicy BBQ seasoning and sugar. Reduce for another 15 minutes. Cool completely.
4️⃣ Coat ribs in the cooled marinade and seal in a zipping bag or covered container. Marinate for at least 3 hours.
5️⃣ Bring ribs to room temperature.
6️⃣ Braai over low to medium coals for 10–15 minutes per side. Don’t let the marinade burn.

Sticky. Smoky. Saucy. Everything ribs should be. 🔥

🔥 Spicy Lamb Tomato Bredie with Basmati Rice & Raita 🔥
Warm, rich, aromatic… this bredie is the ultimate comfort-meets-flavour combo. Perfect for chilly nights or a weekend food flex.

🍛 FULL RECIPE:

Ingredients

For the bredie:
• 1 kg lamb stewing chunks
• 100 g (½ cup) flour
• 30 ml (2 Tbsp) Robertsons Braai & Grill Spicy BBQ
• 2.5 ml (½ tsp) Robertsons black pepper
• 45 ml (3 Tbsp) vegetable oil
• 1 onion, peeled & sliced
• 4 garlic cloves, peeled & sliced
• 45 ml (3 Tbsp) tomato paste
• 15 ml (1 Tbsp) Robertsons rosemary
• 2 × 400 g tins chopped tomatoes
• 500 ml (2 cups) beef or lamb stock

For the raita:
• ½ cucumber
• 125 ml (½ cup) full-fat yoghurt
• Juice & zest of 1 lemon
• 1.25 ml (¼ tsp) salt
• Pinch of Robertsons black pepper

To serve:
• 500 ml (2 cups) uncooked basmati rice
• 30 ml (2 Tbsp) chopped fresh parsley

Cooking Method:
1️⃣ Trim excess fat or gristle off the lamb.
2️⃣ Mix flour, Spicy BBQ spice & pepper. Coat the lamb.
3️⃣ Heat oil, brown the lamb in batches, remove & set aside.
4️⃣ Add onions, sauté 4 min. Add garlic, cook 3 more min.
5️⃣ Add tomato paste & rosemary, cook 1 min.
6️⃣ Return lamb + chopped tomatoes + stock. Bring to a boil, then simmer 90–120 min until tender and thickened. Stir occasionally.
7️⃣ Make the raita: grate cucumber, squeeze liquid out, mix with yoghurt, lemon juice, zest, salt & pepper.
8️⃣ Cook basmati rice 20 min before serving.
9️⃣ Finish with fresh parsley. Serve hot with rice & raita.

🔥 Loaded Boerewors Rolls with Chakalaka 🔥

Because a proper braai isn’t complete without a messy, saucy roll in your hand! This recipe turns your classic wors roll into a flavour bomb that hits every note – spicy, smoky, tangy, and just downright addictive. 🇿🇦🌶️

🥖 Ingredients:

•30 ml (2 Tbsp) sunflower oil
•1 onion, peeled & finely chopped
•1 green pepper, finely chopped
•3 carrots, peeled & grated
•30 ml (2 Tbsp) Robertsons Braai & Grill Spicy BBQ
•45 ml (3 Tbsp) Knorr Chakalaka Soup
•125 ml (½ cup) water
•700 g boerewors
•6 bread rolls
•Butter (optional)
•100 g feta cheese, crumbled

🔥 Method:
1️⃣ Heat oil and fry onions + green pepper till soft.
2️⃣ Add grated carrots and cook for 10 mins. Stir in the Robertsons Braai & Grill Spicy BBQ for a minute.
3️⃣ Mix Knorr Chakalaka Soup with water, pour into the pan, and simmer for 15–20 mins until thick.
4️⃣ Braai the boerewors over low to medium coals till cooked through.
5️⃣ Slice the rolls, butter if you want, then stack wors + chakalaka + feta.
6️⃣ Serve hot and watch them disappear fast.

🔥 Beef Burger with Tangy Tomato Relish 🔥

Juicy, flavour-packed, and perfectly balanced with that tangy homemade relish — this is not your average burger! 🍔🔥

🍽️ Recipe:

BURGERS:

•500g lean beef mince
•1/2 tsp NOMU Concentrated Liquid Beef STOCK
•1 clove garlic, finely minced
•1 shallot, finely chopped
•1 egg yolk
•2 tbsp Italian parsley, finely chopped
•NOMU Sea Salt & Black Pepper
•Pinch NOMU Beef Rub
•4 ciabatta or burger rolls

SWEET POTATO CHIPS:

•2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunky chips
•NOMU Extra Virgin Olive Oil
•1 tsp NOMU Garam Masala Rub
•NOMU Sea Salt & Black Pepper
•Fresh rocket, to serve

TOMATO RELISH:

•4 ripe Roma tomatoes, seeded and cut into thick strips
•2 shallots, sliced
•2 cloves garlic, minced
•2 tbsp NOMU Extra Virgin Olive Oil
•3 tbsp red wine vinegar
•2 tbsp brown sugar
•NOMU Sea Salt & Black Pepper
•1 tbsp NOMU thyme leaves
•1/2 tsp NOMU One For All Rub

🔥 Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C.
2️⃣ Place sweet potato chips on a tray, drizzle with olive oil, and season with Garam Masala Rub, salt, and pepper. Roast for 30–40 mins until golden and crisp.
3️⃣ For the relish, mix all relish ingredients in a baking dish and roast at 180°C for 30 mins until soft and caramelized.
4️⃣ Combine all burger ingredients, shape into 4 patties, and pan-fry until browned and cooked through.
5️⃣ Serve burgers on toasted ciabatta rolls with rocket and a generous dollop of relish. Add those golden sweet potato chips on the side!

💡 Tip: Mix in butternut or potatoes for a tasty twist on your chips!

🔥 Crispy Karoo Lamb Ribs with Mint Pesto 🔥
Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — and that mint pesto? Absolute magic! 🌿🐑
This one’s guaranteed to impress at your next braai.

🍽️ Ingredients

Lamb Ribs:
•1 kg cleaned lamb ribs
•250 ml water
•10 ml Robertsons Mint
•10 ml Robertsons Steak & Chops Spice
•5 ml Robertsons Lemon Pepper

Mint Pesto:
•125 ml toasted almonds (raw & unsalted)
•60 ml mint leaves, stems removed
•40 ml flat-leaf parsley, stems removed
•10 ml lemon juice
•5 ml lemon zest
•100 ml olive oil

•Lemon wedges to serve

🔥 Method:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 150°C.
2️⃣ Place ribs in an oven dish, season with Robertsons Mint, Steak & Chops Spice, and Lemon Pepper.
3️⃣ Add 1 cup of water, cover with a lid, and cook for 60–90 mins — until tender and falling off the bone.
4️⃣ While the ribs cook, make the mint pesto: blend almonds, mint, parsley, lemon juice, zest, and olive oil until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
5️⃣ Once ribs are soft, transfer to a tray and bake or braai until crispy and golden.
6️⃣ Serve hot with mint pesto and lemon wedges.

🔥 Picanha Steak on Toasted Ciabatta with Mustard Cream 🔥

Take your braai to gourmet level with this juicy, smoky Picanha steak served on crispy ciabatta and topped with a creamy mustard sauce. It’s indulgent, rich, and packed with bold flavour — just how we like it! 🥩🔥

🍽️ Recipe:

Mustard Cream:

1 cup (250 ml) fresh cream

3 tbsp Dijon mustard (add more for extra punch)

Small handful of flat-leaf parsley, chopped

NOMU Black Pepper

Picanha Steak:

1 whole Picanha steak (rump cap)

NOMU BBQ Rub

NOMU Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Ciabatta Toast:

1 ciabatta loaf

NOMU Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Handful of rocket (to serve)

👨‍🍳 Method:
1️⃣ Simmer cream over medium heat until reduced by a third, then whisk in mustard and parsley. Season with black pepper and set aside.
2️⃣ Score the Picanha fat in a diamond pattern, season with BBQ Rub and a drizzle of olive oil.
3️⃣ Braai over hot coals for 3 minutes per side (medium rare) or 5 minutes per side (medium). Let it rest for 10 minutes.
4️⃣ Brush ciabatta with olive oil, toast on the braai, and reheat the mustard cream.
5️⃣ Slice the steak, layer it on the ciabatta, drizzle with mustard cream, and top with rocket.

Flavour, texture, and smoke — all in one bite. Perfect for your next weekend braai! 🔥
