Today is the official launch of the new season of Stanford Sunset Market that takes place on the beautiful village green of Stanford on the last Friday of the month. This one is going to be special as Johan Badenhorst and Toast Coetzee will be hanging out at the market for a live kuier between 5:30 - 6pm, followed by Mike Fabricus and friends on the stage with their ecclectic afro-wild vibes and instruments. Stanford in Bloom and Stanford Sunset Market are collaborating for this special market with night shopping in the tents. Come kuier with us and enjoy the best of both markets at the same time.

Today is the official launch of the new season of Stanford Sunset Market that take place on the beautiful village green of Stanford on the last Friday of the month. The winter hibernation is over...Stanford Sunset Market is awake and swan-diving into the Stanford in Bloom village festival tomorrow evening from 5:30 - 8:30 on the village green, 18 September and again on 25 September! Free access, free parking, live music, w**e, b**r, local artisanal drinks, deli , sweets and hot food vendors are joining the Stanford in Bloom day market. This collaboration of markets brings an evening food market to the daytime tent market with extended trading hours. See you there!

Free access, free parking, live music, w**e, b**r, local artisanal drinks, deli , sweets and hot food vendors are joining the Stanford in Bloom day market. The winter hibernation has been lovely and snug. As the days and sunlight hours lengthen, so the daisies and oxalis flowers have spring up on the Village Green which means it's almost time for the Stanford Sunset Market. It's also time for Stanford in Bloom when the whole village gets into spring mood to celebrate the change of season, flowers, fynbos and Leon Kluge's Chelsea Flowers in the village. In honour of all blooming things, there will be 2 sunset markets in September, both with slightly extended hours so that visitors and locals can soak up every moment. Watch this space for highlights and news of musicians and celebrity visitors who will kuier around our fire in September.

That was an epic Western Cape storm, wasn't it? Before we wrap up for winter, there is time for one last hurrah on the Village Green as the Stanford Sunset Market closes its season on 29 May from 6-8pm. See you there for some of the best local food, music and people as we celebrate the end of autumn with lush red w**es, crisp craft b**r and steaming mugs of gluhwein. All welcome. Dress warmly for after sunset.

We are chasing the perfect sunset on the village green each evening. See you there for the cloud show from 6-8pm on 24 April on a perfect autumn evening under the big sky at our penultimate market before we wrap up for winter break. Andy will be bringing his vinyl collection to make sure the beats are groovy. See you there for good food, drinks, friends and country vibes.
