That was an epic Western Cape storm, wasn't it? Before we wrap up for winter, there is time for one last hurrah on the Village Green as the Stanford Sunset Market closes its season on 29 May from 6-8pm. See you there for some of the best local food, music and people as we celebrate the end of autumn with lush red wines, crisp craft beer and steaming mugs of gluhwein. All welcome. Welcome to 2026, and welcome to the Stanford Village Green on the last Friday evening of the month where we celebrate the setting sun, village life, village growers, brewers, makers and bakers. Come and join us on the heritage village green from 6-8pm on 30 January and enjoy a delicious local drink, good food, authentic people and local musician, Mike Fabricius. Free entry, free parking, free music so you can spend your money on supporting local small traders.
