Back on the spit… and clearly out of practice.

Me and Craig thought we still had it. Cameras were running and we needed to perform. Turns out we needed the team to quietly fix everything behind us.

Doing it all wrong, having the best time.

Rain means nothing, the fire still gets lit. Always.
Wet wood, smoke in your eyes, mud under your feet… and not one person stepping back.
That’s South Africa. We don’t cancel a braai, we lean into it.
And somehow… even though we do this every day, the second those flames hit right, out come the phones.

Fire’s been around forever. Still stealing the show.

Two days. Full fire. No slowing down.

Cooking under the Franschhoek Monument at the Montreux Jazz Festival… unreal.

Smoke in the air, music pumping, crowds moving, this is what it’s about.

Proud of The Goose Roasters crew, non-stop for two days and still bringing it.

This event is going to grow fast. We’ll be back.

Rain absolutely smashed us, but the fire kept going.
Soaked, covered in smoke, wet wood fighting back, and still fully in it.
A proper day at Nederburg Harvest Festival, and somehow the rain made it even better.
A Braai does not need sunshine, it needs people.
