Siyabonga Fani’s Ndim Ndinje (I AM ME) speaks to the spirit of Siyalima, meaning “we are cultivating” or “we are growing together”, reflecting the connection between rural heritage, township identity and lived experience.

Hand-coiled in terracotta and finished through smoke and pit firing, the work explores identity and belonging. Its title, drawn from isiXhosa, echoes the declaration “Ndim lo”, meaning “This is me”.

Introducing Bottelary Hills Rosé 2026

Pale onion pink, with delicate aromas of plum skin, spring cherries and pink blossom, this new vintage crafted by cellarmaster, Kiara Scott Farmer, captures the freshness and character of the Bottelary Hills.

On the palate, bright pink peach and sour cherry meet a subtle orange-zest bite, fresh lemony acidity and a cool, mineral purity. Elegant and translucent, with wet stone, flint and lingering cherries on the finish.

Join us at the Hazendal Gallery for a Botanical Collage Workshop inspired by Soft Escapes, the Gallery’s current exhibition.

Facilitated by Chloe Obermeyer of CreatewithCleo, the workshop explores nature-inspired collage through pressed botanicals, photographic imagery and abstract elements, creating layered compositions through a playful and intuitive process.

The experience begins with a guided tour of Soft Escapes from 10:30–11:00, followed by the workshop in the Golf Mezzanine from 11:00–13:00. All materials are provided, with a welcome drink and canapés included.
