Best wishes and divine blessings of providence, protection and good health to you for 2026.
We are preparing for the harvesting of the 2026 vintage with great anticipation. We are experiencing dry conditions with moderate winds and cool night time temperatures which bodes well for a quality crop.

Koopmanskloof has recently achieved Conservation Champion status. Its founder 'Oom Stewie' Smit laid the solid foundation until his death in January of 2009, and we want to recognize his contribution in this achievement. His wife 'Tannie Sybil' Smit who shared his passion, continued to honor his legacy as a true conservation champion, until her passing in March 2024. This acknowledgement and achievement is dedicated to them. We are honored to be entrusted to continue with their legacy. Big boots to fill indeed, but they have prepared the way.

September has been an amazing month for Koopmanskloof Wines. Our Wines did exceptionally well at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards bagging a Double Gold Medal for our Pinotage 2024 and Gold Medals for our Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay 2025 vintage and Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Cab Merlot 2024 vintage. Congratulations to our production and winemaking teams. 🍷🫶🙏😍
