Kaapzicht Wine Estate In 1946, a man created a home by planting a vineyard. That man is now the great-grandfather of the winemaker today. At once familiar and extraordinary.

We craft wines with a sense of belonging, creating moments of purity and concentration. Kaapzicht is a 4th-generation family wine estate in the Bottelary Hills, Stellenbosch, founded by the Steytler family in 1946. Today, Danie Steytler Jnr leads the farm with his wife Carin, continuing a proud legacy of passion and craftsmanship. The estate is known for its old bush vine Chenin Blanc and characterful reds grown on granite soils. Deeply rooted in both land and community, Kaapzicht is a story of heritage, heart, and home
