Omaha, Nebraska 🇺🇸

Spending time with Jerry, Brian and Landon from Chieftaindistribution.

There’s something about the warmth and friendliness of people in the Midwest that reminds me of home in South Africa. Good people, genuine hospitality and a shared love of good w**e. 🍷🇿🇦

Over three decades and two generations, an intimate knowledge of this place has been passed down.

From Murray's first vintage in 1995, to Chris taking over the vineyards and cellar in 2007, the family has spent nearly 30 years learning what makes each corner of Remhoogte unique.

That knowledge eventually led to a simple decision: to put the family name on a w**e.

The Boustred Range represents the parcels that have consistently proven themselves exceptional, vintage after vintage.

An unusually warm and dry winter has brought budbreak 2–3 weeks earlier than normal. The vines are waking up early, and the new season is already underway.

Home.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and forget to look around.

Then you see the farm from above and remember just how special this little corner of Stellenbosch is.

Great w**e starts with great farming.

Meet a few of our hardest-working team members. During the winter months our cattle move through selected vineyard blocks, naturally grazing weeds and cover crops while returning valuable nutrients back to the soil. It’s a simple, sustainable practice that forms part of our commitment to farming in harmony with nature.

Healthy soils grow healthy vines, and healthy vines make exceptional w**es.

A tasting at Remhoogte is never just about what’s in the glass.

It’s about the way each w**e is shared, the stories behind every pour, and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed into our space. Our approach is simple: thoughtful service, honest conversation, and an experience that allows you to unwind and enjoy what’s around you.

When the glasses are lifted, the conversation starts flowing, and the smiles begin to appear, that’s when we know you’re right where you should be.

At home, at Remhoogte.
