Celebrating Old Vine Day with a true reflection of time and terroir!

Our Old Vine Chenin Blanc comes from two vineyards planted in 1985 and 1987. These vines tell a story of heritage, depth, and authenticity. With lower yields and richer concentration, this wine shows beautiful complexity and age-worthy character.

LIEVLAND, 2026 • When deciding to replant most of our vineyards in 2018, we knew it would require patience. Young vineyards carry small yields, only about 5-20% of its potential, the first few years. And then, slowly, surely, the yields increase. Each year, more luscious canopies. Each year, more bunches.

Right before bottling, our Cabernet Sauvignon is brought out for one more in-depth barrel tasting. Each barrel is meticulously tasted and rated to ensure that only the very best goes into our Lievland Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon.

We’re looking for fresh fruit, supple yet grippy tannins, and balanced notes of cedar & spice.
