Our portfolio of wines is curated with a dedicated focus on red varietals. This focused approach allows our winemaker to create consistent quality wines with every vintage.

In the vineyards, our terroir is suited to red wine cultivation. The combination of our soils, vineyard aspect and proximity to the ocean allows the grapes to reach optimum ripeness and flavour development. In the cellar, each barrel is treated with precision and care, resulting in wines with depth, complexity and consistency with every vintage.

MEET THE TEAM

Kaylin has been a part of the Alto family since 2021; She started out as a waitress and has since worked her way up to one of our Assistant Front of House Managers.

Her favourite wine is the M.P.H.S., she loves the story behind it and how it honours the legacy of Alto’s previous winemakers. A natural leader, Kaylin thrives on working with her team and bringing everyone together to achieve great results.

When she’s not at Klein Alto, you’ll find her out running, training in the gym or spending time her dog, Max, the cutest chow chow ever!

Thank you Kaylin, for always being the calm, logical voice of reason during our busiest moments. Your attention to detail and drive to succeed are qualities we truly value and appreciate.

Fun fact: Kaylin is also a rugby player and trained with the Springbok 7s during the 2024/25 season.
