Stellekaya is a privately owned boutique wine producer situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands | South Africa. Our cellar is located in the famous town of Stellenbosch and we source all of our grapes from producers in this appellation. From the outset we have focused on producing wines from noble red varietals. Today we are proud to produce a collection of red wines that typify the Stellenbosc

h terroir and also meet international super-premium quality standards. Our cellar has been completely renovated and has a capacity of ±20,000 cases (6 x 750ml) of premium red wine per year. All of our production is made using the traditional “pigeage”, punch down method in open fermentation bins. The fruit is cooled on arrival and a cold maceration process is applied to ensure that the fruit flavors are captured prior to fermentation taking place. All our wines are pressed using a wooden basket press followed by 100% maturation in French Oak Barrels. Our focus falls on varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Pinotage, Shiraz and Sangiovese.
