Farmer Angus Farmer Angus has been practicing regenerative agriculture on the Spier Wine Farm since 2008.

Products include organic wine, grass fed beef, charcuterie cured without nitrates, eggs from Eggmobile based hens, Rooibos tea and carbon credits.

This was our first opportunity to bottle in the larger formats. The Magnum is 1.5 litres and the Jeroboam is 3.0 litres.

Apparently the wines age better in the large format. This we will only know when we release the wines in 5 years time.

I can only think that the 3 litre is called the Jeroboam because of you drink the whole bottle you so start behaving like Jeroboam.

If you ask nicely you can also become a VIP. The hens will be especially grateful to you for letting them out onto the pasture after a night in the Eggmobiles, where they are safe from the Rooikat.

You also get to collect your eggs for breakfast at the hotel.

Privileged to be collaborating with Danie Slabbert of on bringing you grass fed grass finished beef.

Danie is the only farmer in the country who has built an abattoir on his farm that kills only his grass fed grass finished beef.

The casings for his sausage are made from his sheep intestines that he also raises on his farm.
