☀️ High Temperatures on the Farm ☀️
This week’s heat is affecting both our vegetables and chickens.
Extreme temperatures remind us how important water management, shade, and proper care are in farming.
For the crops, we increase watering early mornings and late afternoons.
For the chickens, we ensure constant clean water and shade to reduce heat stress.
Farming is not just planting and feeding — it’s adapting to nature every day.
Food security depends on how we respond to these challenges.

This afternoon we welcomed a customer who came through to collect fresh peaches directly from the farm.
Moments like these remind me why we do this — fresh produce, honest work, and supporting local food systems.

Self-motivated farmer 🐔🌱
I have always loved poultry farming, but towards the end of last year I was truly motivated by many traditional chicken farmers, including Mute poultry farming and others.
Starting a new year with hope, hard work, and determination.
I now have 33 chickens in total — this is just some of them.
Building step by step towards food security and sustainability.

I choose to farm with God. Not just in words, but in alignment, in prayer, and in obedience to His leading.

Pray over your fields.
Pray for the hands that labour with you.
Pray for your workers for safety, diligence, and unity.
Pray for the protection of your assets.
Pray over every seed, every investment, every dream you have sown into the soil.
Pray for wisdom in every decision you will have to make the difficult ones, the timely ones, and the ones that change the course of your journey.
Pray for discernment, because not every opportunity is divine and not every door is meant to be walked through.

Then put in the work.
Show up.
Be faithful.
Be disciplined.

And trust that where effort meets grace, God will bless the work of your hands.

Here’s to farming with God in 2026 with courage, clarity, protection, wisdom, and favour.
