Why the name Meadowview? 🌸

Our eggs come from hens who are raised the natural way — with plenty of space to roam, forage and spend their days in the sunshine absorbing vitamin D.

We don’t use feed additives, gels or dyes, and we don’t rely on artificial light to increase production. Our ladies follow the natural rhythm of daylight, spending their days outdoors, and between breakfast and dinner they forage for bugs, grubs and shrubs.

And for us, their lives don’t end when their egg production slows down.

When our ladies grow older and eventually stop laying, they stay right here on the farm. They get to spend their days lazing in the sun, wandering around and simply enjoying farm life.

Because to us, it’s not about quantity. It’s about quality — and that includes the quality of life we give every animal in our care.🌸

We’re from Stilbaai, and this is our family farm. 🌿

We try to grow as much of our own food as possible — for both our animals and our family. We believe in doing things as nature intended: growing heirloom varieties, following the seasons, keeping chemicals out of the garden, and building healthy, living soil full of nutrients.

Our farm is also home to a bunch of rescue animals, and we’ve recently started selling our pasture-raised eggs to help cover some of their feed costs. 🐔🐴🐰🐈🐏

Our ladies spend their days roaming the fields, scratching for bugs and grubs, nibbling on shrubs and enjoying plenty of fresh produce from the garden. Happy chickens, happy eggs.

Every Friday, we harvest whatever is ready in the garden and take it down to The Village Square, where you’ll find it available at Namo.

As the days get warmer, we’re looking forward to growing more and more — and sharing the goodness of our garden with you.

Follow along to see what’s growing, what’s being harvested, and a little more of the life here on the farm.

Good food starts with knowing where it comes from. 🌱

We are picking more meadow flowers and they will be available Namo Health & Wellness Stilbaai this Tuesday 🌸

Help us pick a name!

This gorgeous little girl will be joining the family soon and needs a name as sweet as she is. 😊

She is very playful, curious and outgoing.

We can’t wait to have her frolicking around the farm with us. 🫶
