What a special day in the African bush!

A huge congratulations to siblings Cole and Alexi, who shared an unforgettable hunting experience today and each harvested a beautiful zebra. There is something truly remarkable about family creating memories together in the wild, and today was one for the books.

Zebra hunting plays an important role in responsible wildlife management and conservation, helping to maintain healthy population numbers and balanced ecosystems for future generations to enjoy.

The hunt doesn't end in the field either. One of the greatest rewards is gathering around the campfire with family and friends, sharing stories from the day while enjoying some of the finest zebra tenderloins grilled over the coals.

What an incredible week we had in the African bush! Congratulations to each of our hunters on harvesting magnificent trophy kudu bulls and making memories that will last a lifetime.

What a fantastic day spent with the Buse family at Ukutula Lodge & Game Reserve!

Having the opportunity to get up close and personal with these incredible giants is an experience like no other. So, this is what went down today! 🔥

A huge congratulations to our hunters on an incredible first day in the field. Whether behind a bow or a rifle, you guys absolutely rocked it! 🏹🎯

After the late rains we experienced this season, the bush stayed greener for longer, but now that conditions are becoming drier, the bowhunting action is really starting to pick up. The excitement is building, and the opportunities are only getting better!

We can't wait to see what the rest of the safari has in store. Well done, everyone! 👏🌿

“We had a lot of expectations with this being our first trip to Africa. From start to finish, Dries Visser exceeded every one of them.

The lodge setting was picturesque, perfectly placed
along the river with stunning views each morning and evening. Everybody at the lodge was very friendly, helpful, and naturally welcoming to everyone in camp.

The hunting was just as we had hoped, hunting out of classic African pit blinds over a water hole. Each day was full of excitement not knowing what was going to walk out next.

Our PH Willem did a fantastic job. He was easy to get along with, had a great sense of humor, and was able to put us on harvesting all 9 of the animals on our list in just 7 days. Our excitement was also his excitement, which made every harvest that much more enjoyable. His tracker Bosani was helpful each day in tracking our animals, helping Willem set up the animals for breathtaking
pictures, and making sure our animals were promptly cleaned and placed in the salt. Both were instrumental in recovering my kudu which was my #1 target animal.

Without either of them, that would never have happened. At the end of each day, we looked forward to returning to camp and gather around the fire with the rest of the hunters while everyone shared stories of the hunts that day.

Each PH would take the time to ask the other hunters about their day as well, as you could tell they were genuinely interested in how their hunt went. Shortly after, we were served a delicious dinner which involved various animals harvested by one of the hunters in camp. Elana went above and beyond with the meals she would create for us.

Cobus and Elana are amazing people, and it was evident that their camp is built with an emphasis on communication, teamwork, dedication, and professionalism. We truly had the time of our lives and look forward to our next trip with them.”
