Since buying the olive and wine farm in 2016, Venishree and Juergen Mayer have nurtured the groves (Favolosa, Mission, Leccino and Frantoio) with utmost care and passion, resulting in their first medium, well balanced, nutty Extra Virgin Olive Oil in 2018. The olives are grown on Fraaigelegen Farm in the valley of Tulbagh, Western Cape. Frm the orchard to the mill, from the culture to the bottling, we respect one golden rule: QUALITY!

Quality over Quantity is the motto for ADHARA EVOO, hand-harvesting the olives when still half-ripe, resulting in their now multiple award-winning, delicious and precious “liquid gold”. The farm is also a charming agriturismo destination with stunning mountain vistas. Venishree is a Board Member and Director on the SA Olive Industry Association since early 2019.
