๐ง๐ผ๐๐พ NTUNGAMILI RAGUIN CROWNED DOUBLES CHAMPION AND INTO SINGLES FINAL AT J200 MIKI
A superb week continues for Botswana's Ntungamili Raguin at the ITF J200 Miki in Japan.
Ntungamili and Pakistan's Mikaeel Ali Baig, playing their first doubles tournament together, have been crowned J200 Miki doubles champions after defeating the tournament's No. 1 seeds, Australians Mustafa Ege S*k and Taiki Takizawa, 7-5, 6-2 in the final.
It completes an impressive run through the doubles draw in which Raguin and Baig defeated the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 1 seeds on their way to the title.
It is Ntungamili's second J200 doubles title, following his African Junior Championship doubles title at the J200 Cairo earlier this year.
Ntungamili also continued his strong run in singles, defeating No. 7 seed Ethan Domingo of Australia 7-6(4), 6-4 in a physical two-and-a-half-hour semi-final featuring numerous long and intense rallies.
Ntungamili is now through to the J200 Miki singles final, where he will face the tournament's No. 1 seed, Mustafa Ege S*k of Australia, currently ranked No. 55 in the ITF Junior world rankings.
Congratulations Ntungamili and Mikaeel on the doubles title, and all the best for tomorrow's singles final! ๐ง๐ผ๐ต๐ฐ๐
