🌱 Plan Early. Plant with Peace of Mind.

A fertiliser shortage is currently not expected for the upcoming planting season. Product availability should be sufficient to meet anticipated demand.

📈 International prices remain relatively fair, but local fertilizer prices may continue to trade at elevated levels for as long as the unrest in the Middle East persists, partly due to increased freight insurance costs.

🚛 The shorter supply window for the upcoming planting season may also place greater pressure on transportation and logistics. In addition, increased salary demands within the transport sector could put further pressure on transport costs.

Our advice is therefore simple: Plan ahead and get your fertilizer onto the farm in good time. 🌾

Planning early gives you greater flexibility. If prices happen to decline later for any unforeseen reason, you can still benefit from the lower prices where possible. If prices do not decline, you have already secured your fertilizer supply.

Daar word tans nie ’n kunsmistekort vir die komende plantseisoen verwag nie. Die beskikbaarheid behoort voldoende te wees om aan die verwagte vraag te voldoen.

📈 Internasionale pryse bly relatief billik, maar plaaslike kunsmispryse kan op verhoogde vlakke verhandel solank as wat die onrus in die Midde-Ooste voortduur, onder meer weens verhoogde vragversekeringskoste.

🚛 Die komende plantseisoen se korter voorsieningsperiode kan ook groter druk op vervoer en logistiek plaas. Daarby kan verhoogde salarisvereistes binne die vervoersektor verdere druk op vervoerkoste plaas.

Daarom is ons advies eenvoudig: Beplan vroegtydig en kry jou kunsmis betyds op die plaas. 🌾

Deur vroeg te beplan, gee jy jouself meer buigsaamheid. Indien pryse om enige onvoorsiene rede later daal, kan jy steeds die voordeel daarvan benut waar moontlik. Indien pryse egter nie daal nie, het jy reeds jou kunsmisvoorsiening verseker.
