We are excited to welcome this gorgeous pair of Indian Runner ducks to the Jakkalsrand Feather & Fur family!

These beautiful blue-coloured runners will be joining our growing flock, and we look forward to seeing what they contribute to our future breeding plans. Their unique colouring and elegant stature make them a wonderful addition to the farm.

This weekend brought some beautiful firsts.
My Cream Legbar girl gifted her very first egg, and the Coturnix Quails joined in with their first little treasures too.

Watch this space — the season is just beginning.

This weeks eggs going into the incubator. My Silver Laced Wyandotte started laying eggs and my Black Copper Maran eggs are big enough to incubate. Such prettiness 🥚🐓🌸
