Maizena Mango Pickle

20 mangoes peel an cut in small piecesl (I made with half cut mangoes)

Salt to taste

3 tblsp pickle masala

3 tblsp red chillies (here I used instead 1 TBSP chilli pwd, 1 TBSP crushed chilli, 1 TBSP kashmiri chilli pwd.)

1 tblsp crushed dhnia

1 tblsp whole jeera crushed

Mix above with mangoes

1 1/2 Cups sugar
2 Cups vinegar
1/2 Cup maizena
Mix the 3 things and boil till thick cool completely

Make vagaar/braise with

2 OR 1 1/2 CUPS OIL

2 tblsp mustard seeds

6-8 green chillies can slit in half

10 cloves garlic sliced

2 sprigs Curry leaves

Peel wash and dry mangoes well must be nice and dry

Sprinkle ingredients and mix pour the prepared syrup and vagaar over and mix well bottle when cold

A busy day in my kitchen. Weekends here. Rainy and cold weekend predicted. So must have good things to have with that cuppa. Be it tea, coffee, milo, cocoa, cappuccino, green tea, matcha, karak or rooibos. U neeed to have a side with that cuppa.

Half plain. Half iced.
Iced is for me. Lol. Sweet tooth.

Sure u have heard of the dot cake. Well that's been around for ages. No idea why anyone would think its a new creation.

I just wanted a delectable sponge cake with icing. Butter cream icing.
I didn't go overboard with the sprinkles as i don't fancy those bits getting stuck in my tooth.
