29 emerging leaders from across RCL FOODS have officially begun their Foundational Leadership Programme (FLP14), in partnership with GIBS Business School. Now in its 11th year, FLP14 marks the 14th cohort of the programme.

The journey is about more than stepping into a leadership role. It’s about building the self-awareness, confidence and capabilities to lead people, drive performance and make a meaningful impact. Through coaching, collaboration, practical experiences and plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves, this cohort will learn, grow and build connections that extend well beyond the programme.

By investing in our people and their potential, we’re building the leadership capability to take RCL FOODS forward.

Mandela Day is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with purpose.

Through The Do More Foundation and our collaborating partners, our people helped bring the magic of outdoor play to 30 000 children in 675 ECD Centres, across 10 communities.

From supporting the packing of 675 Move & Play Kits to helping mobilise 190 volunteers, every contribution helped turn a day of action into meaningful impact for children in our communities.

Because when our people, partners and communities come together, we don’t just make a difference for today, we help create opportunities for children to move, play, learn and grow.

August has given us a moment to celebrate the strength, resilience, determination and impact of our women through .

But celebrating women is only one part of the story. The real work is creating opportunities for women to learn, grow, lead and thrive, throughout the year.

Over the past year, we’ve invested R12 805 405 in training 2 110 women, helping to build skills, open doors and support women as they grow their careers and realise their full potential. Because when women are given the opportunity to thrive, we all grow stronger.

As Women’s Month comes to a close, our commitment doesn’t. The work to create inclusive, equitable spaces where women feel valued, supported and empowered continues far beyond August.
