Pad tussen Zandvlakte en Patensie is tans gesluit weens water wat sterk loop en gestyg het by Smitskraal en Grootrivierdrif onder in Patensie.

Volgens Reinet Coleske van Gamtoos Besproeingsraad hanteer die laagwaterbruggies nou 4x meer water as normaal. Dit loop vinnig af, maar alle laagwaterbruê in Patensie is tans gesluit.
