Our featured item of the week:
Deboned Whole Chicken

Try this on the braai and you'll wonder why you only discovered it now. We love to make this for our family on the hot coals and serve it with fresh sourdough bread (thanks Rosemead Bakery!) and butter.

If you're more adventurous you can stuff it, roll it up and bake in the oven. Some filling ideas:
- Figs, goats cheese, & pistachios
- Spinach, mushroom & prosciutto
- Mince, sun-dried tomatoes, basil & mozzarella

Chicken thighs are a flavourful, juicy, and forgiving cut of dark meat that can be baked, pan-seared, or grilled.

Flavour Ideas:
* Honey Garlic: Toss with soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger.
* Classic Herb & Spice: Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
* Citrus Marinated: Marinate in lime juice, orange juice, cumin, and oregano.

Butterflied Chicken / Flattie
A butterflied (or spatchcocked) chicken is ideal for fast, even cooking, high-heat grilling, and roasting on top of vegetables in under an hour. Flattening the bird prevents the breast meat from drying out while the dark meat finishes cooking
