Chankwakwa Chankwakwa is a family run farm in Kabwe where we make jams, sauces, dried fruit and soya products.

Chankwakwa is working with small scale farmers in Central and Luapula provinces. The farmers are organized in cooperatives and follow both organic and fair-trade practices. At the process plant we work predominantly with women whom have become experts in their field despite many of them being illiterate. Through their work they are able to provide for their families. Our products are all made from

locally grown fruits, making it a truly Zambian product. By doing so we support the Zambian farmer as well as the community by creating jobs in rural areas.

Our Story

ZAMBIAN GROWN NATURAL PRODUCTS!

Chankwakwa range of prized food products are based on a long history of farming experience, homemade quality and family traditions. We support and work with rural small-scale farmers in Luapula and Central provinces to grow quality fruits and vegetables, thus providing sustainable incomes to these communities. Produce is also grown locally on the farm.

Only sun ripened first grade fruit and vegetables are used in the production process. We produce dried mango, guava and tropical fruits as well as honey, mango, mixed fruit and strawberry jam, orange and lemon marmalade and tomato and chilli sauce. We also manufacture soya flour and heps porridge.
