On 29th August 2026 we hosted the 21st Alexswill Bonsmara Production Sale. 21 SALES means we have matured into proper adults now!!!😂. When we started hosting these auctions we were a bit naive and tried to do everything ourselves. After all these years we now have a group of wonderful people around us who make the day so much more enjoyable. Of course our dedicated staff who are here throughout the year; but also Gayle and Hillary who (wo-)man the accounts, Linda and Fleur at Registration, Roy and Marieta, braaiing their socks off and organising the buffet tables and our spotters Bas and Johan de Jager (who is also our consultant…..what Johan doesn’t know about cattle has not been invented yet!!).
And of course we could not do this without our super professional auctioneer Mr Brandon Leer, who slots into Kwacha-mode (from SA Rand ;)) and is patient and understanding towards new buyers and fair to all. A big thank you to all our sponsors, old and new, in particular ZSIC who was our main sponsor this year, for all their support.
But the biggest Thank You must go to our buyers and under-bidders, for their continued support. We hope you are happy with your purchases and may they make a positive contribution to your herd!!!
