COUPLE ARRESTED FOR MURDERING BABY TO HAVE ENOUGH S*X TIME
Police in Chiradzulu have arrested a couple suspected of murdering their two-week-old baby in Sasu Village.
Chiradzulu Police spokesperson, Hurbert Mwangoka, has identified the suspects as Macdonald Mili, 60, and his wife, Triphonia Chancy, 36.
Mwangoka says the two got married three months ago.
He says at the time of their marriage, the woman was already pregnant with another man’s child, as she was previously involved in s*x work.
According to Mwangoka, on the 22nd of this month, a dispute arose between the couple after the woman allegedly denied her husband access to s*x, arguing that the baby was still too young.
The disagreement escalated, and the couple reportedly agreed to kill the infant.
It is alleged that they carried out the act by strangling the baby and later buried the body in a garden so they could resume their normal living arrangements.
The incident came to light after community members noticed the baby had gone missing.
When questioned, the couple failed to provide clear answers, prompting residents to report the matter to the police.
Upon interrogation, the suspects allegedly confessed to the crime and led police to the location where they had buried the infant’s body.
The two are expected to appear in court soon to answer murder charges.
