Bane, day 1 of 2026. 🙏🏾

God has been faithful. Through the wins, the delays, the pressure, and the lessons, His grace carried us. For that, He deserves all the praise.

We talk a lot about hustling, but not enough about the reality of the journey. Plans fail. Doors close. Some days test your discipline more than your faith. I’ve been there.

One thing I know for sure: prayer, consistency and focus never fail.
What you put your mind and heart toward, you attract. Focus on problems and they multiply. Focus on solutions and doors open. If you can’t solve it, leave it, and give your energy to what you can control.

Empires are not built in a day. I started small, Exams Made Easy, marketed monga chalo chisila, but small beginnings, sustained with discipline, grow. Sometimes I’d hand out flyers pa traffic and eve be the one to teach Great North Road Academy learners back in the day.

Speak boldly about your business. Market it without apology, osanvela nsoni. “ What will they think of me ?” Do they pay your bills muntu wanga ? Closed mouths don’t get fed.

As we enter 2026, don’t rush progress. Continue from where you failed. Let experience guide you.

Forget New Year’s resolutions. Review 2025, identify what held you back, and try again, this time with wisdom.

The need to be right comes from our fear of loss of approval. If I'm wrong,we think,I lose my identity and thus my approvability. Our need to be right may take the form of an inability to accept criticism, which we usually equate with insult.

Most of our suffering doesn't come from the situations we experience-it comes from our attachment to how we think things should be. We grip tightly to people, outcomes, and expectations, hoping they will give us security and happiness. But the tighter we hold on, the more we suffer.

Think about the last time you felt frustrated or disappointed. Maybe a relationship didn't go the way you hoped, promotion didn't happen, or someone let you down. That pain wasn't just from the situation itself it was from the expectations you had tied to it. When reality doesn't match our expectations, we struggle.
