Invesco is the "baby" of second generation Zambian, Mr Ajesh N Patel; incorporated in 1991 with a vision of manufacturing and marketing ready-to-drink products in disposable, yet recyclable packaging. From the inception of the company, we decided that the future of the packaging of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages was in plastic bottles rather than the traditional method of bottling in cans
or glass bottles. This innovative idea gave Invesco the recognition of becoming one of the first bottlers in the Central African Region to manufacture, fill and package its products in plastic bottles made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate). During 1991, Invesco manufactured and distributed Parle’s famous brands of carbonated drinks such as “Thumbs up”, “Limca”, “Citra” and “Gold Spot,” under the authority of the Coca-Cola Company. In the following years, Invesco commenced manufacturing a number of core brands by Coca-Cola and Schweppes including “Coca-Cola”, “Coke Light”, “Fanta”, “Sprite” and the “Kinley” range of mixers. Invesco also produces popular cordials such as Mazoe and Jolly Juice. Our unprecedented success and phenomenal growth at the turn of the century, gave us the confidence to pursue a range of our own-brand carbonated beverages, which include the all-time favourites, Fiesta “Apple” and Fiesta “Ginger Beer”. Invesco also launched its own brand of still and sparkling water known as “Crystal”. Our fundamental aim is to provide quality beverages in superior packaging that meets the demands of today's generation.
