Farm Manager (Livestock)

Location: Chingola.

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager to oversee all aspects of livestock management & Agronomy on our farm. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in animal care, breeding, feeding, Agronomy and general farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily care, feeding, and health of all livestock.

- Manage breeding, disease prevention, and vaccination programs.

- Supervise farm workers and ensure best practices in livestock handling.

- Maintain farm equipment, shelters, and feeding systems.

- Monitor livestock performance and implement strategies for productivity.

- Ensure compliance with animal welfare and farm safety regulations.

- Keep accurate records of livestock inventory, health treatments, and production.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in livestock farming and farm management.

- Knowledge of animal nutrition, health, and breeding.

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and make decisions in farm operations.

- Basic knowledge of farm machinery and maintenance.
