Matebele Agrivalue Foods has been selected by ZimTrade out of 200+ women-led businesses to join the 5th She Exporter Cohort 2026!

We just wrapped up Day 1 of the programme and we are already learning so much.
Today was about setting the foundation:
1. Positioning women-led businesses for export growth
2. Financial readiness
3. Understanding export readiness
4. Communicating our offer with clarity

As a brand rooted in Zimbabwean indigenous ingredients biltong, salted peanuts, raisins, caramel popcorns baobab, mopane worms , this is a huge step for us.
Our goal: Take Matebele Snacks from local tables to international markets. 🌍

Just wrapped up powerful discussions on youth participation and investment in Zimbabwe’s agri-food systems — representing as a member of the World Food Forum Zimbabwe Youth Chapter _and_ founder of Matebele Snacks.

Real talk from the room:
Young people aren’t waiting for permission. We’re building the future of food right now.

We talked access to finance. Access to markets. Climate-smart farming. Value addition. And how rural youth are _already_ doing this work — we just need the investment to scale it.

What I shared from Lupane:
