Visited a local farmer Zichawo in Manyene communal area who has transformed 5 hectares of ancestral land into a zero-waste, high-yield power station:
• Mixed horticulture & thriving fish ponds
• Cattle, goats, sheep, pigs & indigenous chickens
• 100% integrated ecosystem where nothing goes to waste

Animal Health Session on the farm 🐐🐑

Today we worked through our new kids and lambs with a 3-step health program:
1. Dosed with Prodose Orange ➡️ For control of milk tapeworm and other internal parasites
2. Supplemented with
Vitol 140 ➡️ To support immune system, appetite and overall vigor

3. Timing: 2 weeks after their first PK vaccine

Why we do it like this:

PK vaccine 💉 builds immunity against Pulpy Kidney and other clostridial diseases.

2 weeks later

✅Deworming because young stock pick up parasites fast from milk and bedding. Worms steal nutrients and stunt growth.
✅Vitol 140 gives a boost of vitamins and minerals to help them handle stress from handling, vaccination and deworming. Stronger immunity = better response + faster growth.

Preventative health is an investment, not a cost. Healthy kids and lambs today = productive animals tomorrow.
