My First Beehive 🐝 A Christmas Journey

Just before Christmas, we took our first step into beekeeping.

This vlog documents our journey to Bulawayo to acquire our very first Gumbi Creek beehive and begin learning what it truly means to work with bees. It’s not just about honey, it’s about patience, stewardship, and building something that lasts.

This marks the beginning of our long-term vision at Gumbi Creek. We’re committing to going all in, with a goal of establishing 50 beehives before the end of 2026 and bringing farm-to-table, raw organic Creek Honey to the market.

A huge thank you to Mr. Gerald of TopLife Farming Zone in Bulawayo, who is now our anchor farmer and mentor in this journey. His guidance, wisdom, and hands-on approach to beekeeping are now shaping how we learn and grow with the bees, the right way.
