📌 ABOUT THIS PAGE | What About The Boy Child?
“What About The Boy Child?” is a platform created to spark honest, respectful and meaningful conversations about the wellbeing of the boy child.
For a long time, many challenges faced by boys have gone unnoticed or undiscussed from emotional wellbeing and mental health, to education, protection, identity and positive masculinity. This page exists to give those conversations a safe and constructive space.
Our aim is to:
-Raise awareness about issues affecting the boy child
-Promote healthy emotional expression and mental wellbeing
-Encourage positive values, responsibility and accountability
-Support parents, caregivers and communities raising boys
-Share knowledge, stories and solutions that build better men
Beyond online conversations, we are committed to running awareness campaigns and community engagements across Zimbabwe, working with families, schools, faith groups and partners to ensure the boy child is seen, heard and supported.
This platform is not about competing with or diminishing the girl child. It is about ensuring that every child receives the attention, protection and guidance they need to thrive.
We welcome parents, guardians, mentors, educators, young people and community members across Zimbabwe to learn, engage and grow together.
Let’s talk. Let’s listen. Let’s raise better boys for a better future.
🤍 Because the boy child matters too.
