In the fields of Zimbabwe, in local communities such as this in Kwekwe - is where the Monty’s story begins.

The fields of Zimbabwe are where the Monty’s journey begins. Four months of hard work culminating in the best possible product, locally grown. Beyond that, this is a picture of the impact we are making in communities across the country. This is the Mayorca Irrigation scheme in Kwekwe, Midlands where 76 households from the district are growing just over 20 hectares of Michigan Pea Beans, the primary ingredient in Monty’s Baked Beans. We are calling on all prospective Michigan Pea Bean farmers across Zimbabwe, to with us.

How often do we use tomato products in our relish or stew?

For most cooking, tomato purée works better than fresh tomatoes — stronger flavour, longer shelf life, less waste, and consistent results.

Of course, fresh tomatoes are still best for salads and salsas.
