I would like to address the misconception that agriculture is an outdated and unsophisticated profession, particularly among young people and women.
My goal is to challenge this narrative and highlight the significant impact of technology on modern farming practices. The traditional method of carrying buckets to water plants is no longer necessary, thanks to the availability of various irrigation systems. Additionally, the use of hand hoes for weeding can be replaced with more efficient methods, such as applying herbicides and utilizing mechanized weeding equipment.
Greenhouses also provide a controlled environment that can be customized to meet specific needs.

Prevention is better than Cure is a statement we grew up being told but i thought it was just one of those saying people enjoy telling until I learnt it the hard way.

It dawned on me when it was time to fight pests nd diseases that if one prevents the attack the cost is lower than when one is now fighting the infestations or attacks on crops that it’s now a real battle that comes with financial strain, reduction in yields or quality and possible loss of crop totally

To be safe my advice to you all farmers is to invest in monitoring tools such as, Insect traps so you know what you are fighting with and how big the army is?
Invest in Insect traps and use an effective spraying program to protect the crops.
