Meet Rozie our Carlifonia doe she is now 2 years 11 mos. She has kindled 9 times and gave us a total of 78 kits and managed to wean 69 (88%) only 12% death rate. Only this doe has this success rate and we are greatful, sadly we have to cull her as her productivity have reduced due to age.

A doe is fully productive between 2-4 years with the productivity rate lowering from the age of 3.

Time to pave way for the new generation.

We have kept her daughter, who have kindled 5 times so far and gave us a total of 43 kits 💪 and weaned 31. An impressive record as well.
