Giving LDM Farm Produce a facelift... We upgraded our Solar Borehole System....

Initially we were using an undersized AC VSD, which couldn't feed enough power to the pump and this had a huge negative impact on our desired flow rate, this called for us to do a lot of intensive research into the sizing of borehole systems powered by VSD applications, finally we did hit the jackpot and here we are the flow rate is now a marvel.

Also in the beginning our array of solar panels only consisted of 4 x450 Watts high voltage solar panels connected in series of which our desired system required a minimum of 8 panels with two series strings connected in pararel to step up the current to meet the desired input current of the VSD. We did the upgrade on our own which is a very big achievement and a giant step towards the establishment of our dream Farm.
