Did you know we deliver every weekend to Mudgee/Gulgong? We also attend the Mudgee 2850 markets on the 4th Saturday of every month. 🎪 Fresh pasture raised eggs from these happy girls straight to you. 🌱🐔🥚🍳

Our hens are raised naturally, outdoors as nature intended, a cog in our holistic management wheel, providing amazing benefits to the soil and super delicious and nutritious eggs. They taste amazing, you'll probably never want to buy supermarket eggs again! We delight in bringing this healthy and affordable protein to families across the region since 2020.

We have made buying super easy, just jump on to our website www.coolaheggs.com.au to order (Wed-Sat unless sold out sooner) and select your pick up location at the checkout. Delivery available some weekends in the town areas.

If our delivery times don't suit, pop into one of our retailers in Coolah, Gulgong or Mudgee.

The hens are absolutely loving this damp weather, scratching around like mad today as you can see. The green pick makes their yolks are a beautiful colour too. 😍

Did things a bit backward today, so we'll see how it goes. Direct drilled this multi species into existing pasture in this small paddock. Then brought in the cattle to crash it down a bit for a day or 2. 🌱🚜🐃

🫶🏼 Firstly, we just want to say a huge thank you, we've been overwhelmed by your support (and those who tried to!! 😆) for our bumper egg run this weekend. There's just more and more of you vying for our eggs and we appreciate it. ☺️
Secondly, just want to emphasise that the shop opens on a Wednesday for the following weekend. If you'd like to see our "standard" schedule it's at the bottom of the online shop page. Some weeks there are small tweaks with times/days to fit in with various commitments but that is the schedule we aim for.
If you missed out this weekend, check out one of our stockists or keep an eye out for our next delivery. 🚙

If you're new to us, we've been producing delicious pasture raised eggs for the region from our family's regenerative farm near Coolah since 2020. 🌱🐔Our hens are raised naturally and supplemented mostly with regeneratively grown grain produced right here as well.🌾 Our passion is improving the soil health through a holistic approach to the landscape, working with nature to minimise farming inputs, improve animal health and ultimately aim to produce more nutrient dense food for our community. 🥚🐃🐑🐖

Why would we work a 9-5 when we can work 100 hours a week for little more than the love of it? 🤷‍♀️🥴😂 Conditions are questionable too... no overtime pay, no sick pay, no wet days, no maternity leave... but hey, we get to be out watching the moon rise on the job on a Monday night from the paddock. 😊

More planting this week after another 54mm of rain. 🌧And the girls are keeping me busy in the packing room getting eggs out the door for you.🥚📦 Stay tuned this weekend we will be offering at Coolah and both Mudgee/Gulgong and Coonabarabran. 🚙 Online shop opens Wednesday.

Jammy eggs anyone? 😋

It's nice to see a green tinge about today! 🌱 The rain we received last week and the slight cool down in weather has triggered the C3s to emerge. The hardier C4s are also powering on too as it hasn't got cold enough to terminate them yet. Clayton has been busy planting winter cereals and this week's rain looks promising for a good late start. 🌾 The season is probably almost 8 weeks behind to usual. Fingers crossed for some follow ups in a month or so.

I'm a thousand miles away here packing your favourite eggs for you. 🤩

This is the candling and grading process, where every egg passes over a light so we can pick out damaged or imperfect eggs. The eggs then pass over a series of scales which help us provide a consistent product for all our customers, from bakers and cafes to the humble home kitchen. 🍳🍽

Come see us tomorrow morning at the markets. Judging by the preorders, I have a feeling you'll need to come early! 😉
