HAPPY FATHERS DAY ๐Ÿ’™

To all our fathers and father figures, we wish you a happy day today!

Thank you to all of the families who work with us and spend time away from loved ones to do so. Special days like today make us reflect on how lucky we are to have such wonderful people as a part of our work family. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

A big congratulations to Sooupu, Fuipo and Harry, who have been recognised for their outstanding commitment to looking after our machinery and equipment at Tasmanian Berries ๐Ÿ‘

These guys consistently go above and beyond when it comes to keeping their machinery clean, completing their pre-starts and taking pride in the equipment they operate ๐Ÿšœ

Thank you boys for setting a great example and taking pride in your work! ๐Ÿ“

Thank you 7NEWS Tasmania for raising awareness as to the impact on businesses like ours when theft occurs. Itโ€™s really frustrating that we invest in equipment for our business to operate efficiently and safely and that someone feels they have the right to destroy and remove our property.

Thank you Tasmania Police for all of your work with us on this matter.

๐Ÿšจ COMMUNITY HELP PLEASE โ€“ STOLEN PROPERTY ๐Ÿšจ

Weโ€™re asking our local community to please keep an eye out following a break-in at our Osmaston farm over the weekend.

These people allegedly (see one of them below from security camera footage) decided to smash their way into a locked shed and help themselves to a number of items including, rather unbelievably, our wall-mounted defibrillator ๐Ÿš‘

Apparently, if youโ€™re going to break into a farm, taking a piece of potentially life-saving emergency equipment is a necessary part of the exercise. ๐Ÿ™„

They also cut power to the property and removed electric fencing used to contain livestock, creating not only a risk to our animals, but potentially to members of the public and road users had livestock made their way onto nearby roads.

Thankfully, nobody was injured and the incident has been reported to Tasmania Police.

While equipment can be replaced, itโ€™s incredibly frustrating that someoneโ€™s actions could so unnecessarily compromise the safety of our staff, livestock and the wider community.

If anyone saw anything unusual in the area over the weekend, this vehicle and its three male occupants or you have come across someone suddenly sporting a brand new wall-mounted defibrillator that has been offloaded cheap, weโ€™d very much appreciate hearing from you.

Please feel free to share this post and any information that may assist, can also be provided directly to Tasmania Police.

Thanks everyone for keeping an eye out. ๐Ÿšœ

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฑ A special visit to Timor-Leste ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

Andrew, Jacqui, Lachie, Audrey, Malu and Jose had the pleasure of travelling to Timor-Leste to visit the home communities of some of our PALM Scheme seasonal workers.

We were welcomed warmly at every stop with handmade gifts, banquets, cultural events, local activities and importantly, time with our team and their families.

The visit allowed us to see firsthand how working in Australia has supported our seasonal workers in achieving personal goals at home, including investing in land, building new homes and creating business opportunities that contribute to longterm stability and growth within their communities.

Thank you to everyone who hosted us so generously and to Eva and her dedicated team of drivers and organisers for your support throughout the trip.
