With the Tassie Spring Show season just around the corner, Hayden has been busy halter-breaking the show team.

This season we’ll be presenting three junior bulls, three junior heifers and a senior cow with calf at foot across the different shows.

One of our junior bulls is this little hunk, Tolivar Sunstone W58, an ET from Dunoon Sunstone out of our donor cow T53.

Already tipping the scales at a healthy 592kg, with another six weeks until Hobart Royal, we’re expecting him to be pushing around the 650kg mark by show time.

Our heifer progeny from Sunstone are equally as impressive with a Sunstone heifer joining W58 in the show ring.

We’re looking forward to getting the team out and about and catching up with everyone throughout the Tassie show season.

🎥 Paddock walk today amongst the 16 Rising 18-Month-Old Sale Bulls that are on offer in 2 weeks at the Tasmanian Angus Spring Bull Sale. The bulls are backed by proven maternal cow families, elite genetics and a breeding program focused on performance, fertility, structure, temperament and commercial profitability.

This impressive group includes the first bulls offered in Tasmania by American sire Kenny Rogers. These sons combine exceptional feed efficiency, deep body capacity and elite carcass merit. An easy-calving sire with explosive 200, 400 and 600-day growth, Kenny Rogers ranks in the top 1% of the breed for all three traits.

Also featured are sons of Alpine 38 Special S021, a bull who continues to be highly sought after throughout Australia for his breed-leading structural correctness, reliable calving ease and impressive deep-bodied phenotype. Selling as Lot 32 and Lot 34 are two full brothers to Tolivar Vision V5, the $19,000 top-priced bull at this year’s Tasmanian Angus Autumn Bull Sale.

Completing the lineup of sires in this group are two home-bred sons of Baldridge Beastmode, who combine the carcass quality of their sire with the depth, softness and power of their renowned dam, Baldridge Isabel Y69.

This outstanding Landfall Summit daughter immediately caught our attention with her combination of capacity, volume, rib shape, breeding type and exceptional data.

At just 13 months of age, W207 offers an exciting genetic package, ranking:

▪️ Top 5% for IMF at +6.1
▪️ Top 10% for 400 Day Weight at +113
▪️ Top 10% for 600 Day Weight at +148

Her combination of strong birth, growth and carcass figures made her a standout for us, and we believe she will be an exciting addition to our breeding program.
