🚨 HALAL UPDATE

Our chicken and doner may come from Halal-certified suppliers, BUT… our little kitchen is definitely not big enough to live the separate-kitchen life 😂

Separate grill, separate pan, separate cooking area… and then there’s BACON 🥓

And unfortunately, bacon has a very strong fan club at our shop

So rather than confusing or disappointing anyone, we’re keeping it simple:

👉 We are NOT a Halal Restaurant
👉 We cook different products in the same small kitchen.
👉 And yes… BACON is staying. 🥓

We’d rather be clear and honest so everyone can decide whether our food is suitable for them.

Well… the Boss Lady decided to work Front of House tonight. BIG MISTAKE.

The plan was simple: let customers see more than just her eyes , take payments, hand out food, and give the team a little break from having her around in the kitchen.

Turns out… she created MORE stress. Forgot orders , Handed out the wrong orders, Confused herself, Put more pressure on the team 😂

Boss Lady is blaming the medication she’s taking at the moment for sending her brain somewhere else. LOl

But what a hectic AND happy Friday night! It was so lovely seeing so many regular faces and lots of new customers walking through our door.

If we gave you the wrong order tonight and you weren’t very happy with your SURPRISE MEAL .... please let us know. We’re more than happy to remake it and help cover ....the Boss Lady’s guilt!

Uber was absolutely BOOMING tonight too.

And Mick — if you see this, we are SO sorry! Your order was made but unfortunately wasn’t delivered. We tried to find your phone number, but our bloody shop phone made it nearly impossible. We know how frustrating it is waiting for your Friday night dinner and nothing turns up.

Thank you everyone for your patience tonight and for keeping our little shop so busy. ❤️
