May is drawing to a close. 🌙

Before June begins, take a moment to pause with your cacao and ask yourself:

✦ What began this month that I want to keep nurturing?

Macambo is an extraordinary, white or cream - coloured cacao variety, from the Amazon rainforest.

This unique ingredient comes from the fruit of an ancient, sacred 10 million year old tree, that once was Cacao but evolved into a its own distinct species deep in the Amazon rainforest. Macambo grows around cacao in Peru, towering above and shading it from the sun, like a protector.

In addition to the best known name Macambo and Kocao Blanco, it is also known as Jaguar Tree, Balamts and Pataxte.

When prepared in a similar to our native cacao, you have a deliciously creamy white hot chocolate!

Both have their place. They simply work differently in the body.
