👻 Still Not Afraid Of The Dark 👻

DIPA - 8.5%

Remember last year’s Halloween release, Not Afraid Of The Dark? That absolute juice-bomb Hazy Double IPA that glowed in the dark? Yeah, that one. Well, we’ve ran it back, and given it our signature DDH treatment. We took the original Citra Cryo, Motueka and CIP-076 hop bill, and fermented it once again with a super expressive new yeast strain to us and the results speak for themselves - pure saturation. In the glass it’s a glowing yellow haze, with the whippiest foam. The aromas are popping with mango, fresh-squeezed orange & zesty lime with a touch of dank on the backend. Take a sip and prepare to be hit with a punch of mango tango smoothie, peach gummy rings, lime milkshake, orange starburst chews and a hint of fleshy mandarin. The body is insanely creamy and pillowy soft, while the hops deliver a full palate saturation you can only get from the DDH treatment. The finish is super clean, with the lightest bitterness that’ll have you chasing that next sip. Much like last year’s iteration, don’t forget to drink this one in the dark for the full experience of the can - don’t be afraid.

Three Peat is a brand new, fresh and vibrant Summer Ale brewed to celebrate the hometown heroes, the Brisbane Lions, on their epic three-peat this year. A Summer Ale is the perfect drop to crush all off-season long as we in Brisbane day-dream about Wharfie Times gone by. We built this one to have a soft and clean mouthfeel to really let those hops do the talkin’, and boy do they. Citra and Rakau lead the charge, like Ashcroft with 4 bounces down the wing in the dying seconds, bringing their signature passionfruit, zesty orange and a hint of stone-fruit, dankness in the cut. We don’t need many excuses, if any at all, to dress up, so naturally we had to throw our very first Halloween party.

On the 31st, the taproom is getting the full haunted house treatment.

We’ll be giving out prizes for the best costumes on the day, so if you’ve been sitting on a deep cut from pop culture, your favourite Goosebumps cover art, or anything in between, this is the time to bust it out. Our bar staff have already been cooking up some ideas for what they’ll be dressed up as, and they’ll be working in style.

Beyond the dress-up, we’ll have raffles, drink specials pouring from the bar, and food specials getting served up from the kitchen. But more on that soon 👀

When you brew a b**r this close to perfect, you want to get every last drop out of it.

Lights & Music does a lot of heavy lifting with Motueka, Citra and Galaxy. Once it’s done, those hops still have plenty to give, so we recycled them into Pre-Loved #17.

Same hop combo, second life. It’s a juicy, crushable Session Pale Ale with passionfruit, fresh lime, ripe mango and orange cream on a light, refreshing body. All the hop punch, without the booze and heaviness.

If you couldn’t get your hands on Lights & Music, this is the next best thing.

Lights & Music

TIPA - 10%

Lights & Music is a Triple IPA brewed in collaboration with cult NZ icons Garage Project from Wellington, NZ. Remaining the #1 rated b**r in Australia, it was originally brewed for our 3rd birthday, to be a punchy, juicy and luxurious TIPA. We’ve brought it back for another spin because, well, it’s awesome. This year’s version is dry-hopped with our hand selected Freestyle Hops Motueka and Yakima Chief Hops Citra plus the freshest Galaxy we could lay our hands on.
Lights & Music is about as smooth and tropical as anything we’ve ever made. It pours into the glass with a deep, saturated, milky haze. Straight up on the nose, this b**r punches out aromas of lime, peach and grapefruit, which can be smelt from a mile away. The mouthfeel is thick, slick and velvety all the way from the front to the back of the palate, with a dense and creamy mouthfeel. Motueka and Citra take centre stage bringing wave after wave of soft and luscious overripe mango, melon, lime, passionfruit and peach. The finish is smooth and has a tropical intensity that hangs around long after each sip. An annual release that we spend all year looking forward to, we believe this is easily the best batch yet. They say it’s impossible to improve on perfection but we’ve found a way.

Best Laid Plans is a brand new Double IPA that we’ve brewed for NZ week this year. We have assaulted this b**r with the freshest Kiwi hops, featuring a luscious combination of Tropical Fusion, Tropical Fusion Hopkief, Motueka & Eggers Riwaka. In the glass, this one’s that signature Kiwi milky haze, pouring a gorgeous soft shade of yellow.
