We usually tell you to recut your flower stems — it helps them take up water and can help your flowers last longer.

But there’s one exception in our mixed bouquets: daffodils 🌼

Freshly cut daffodil stems release a sap that can affect the other flowers sharing their vase. Before we add them to a mixed bouquet, we condition them separately first.

Once they’ve been conditioned, they’re perfectly happy amongst the other flowers — just don’t recut the daffodil stems.

A little flower-care tip to help you get the most out of your bunch 💛

A little extra help on the flower farm earlier this week 💛
We’ve been filing one of our beds ready for another round of planting - although apparently the most important part is stomping the soil down at the end.
All ready for our final round of ranunculus seedlings to go in 🌱

🌸 Early Bird Flowers are back!

While the season is just getting started, we’ve got a small number of our first flowers available each week.

Right now you can choose from:

🌼 Daffodils — $15
🌸 Ranunculus — $20
💐 Mixed seasonal bunches — $30

Every week will look a little different depending on what’s flowering on the farm.

For now, simply send us a DM to order, with collection available from our farm gate in Nicholson or Bairnsdale.

The daffodils have arrived.

Last week they were just starting to bloom.

This week we've picked our very first bunches of the season.

It's one of those little milestones we look forward to every year. A sign that spring isn't far away—and that every week from here, there'll be something new flowering on the farm.

These are the very first of many 💛

🌸 The first flowers of the new season are here.

Behind the scenes we’ve been sowing seeds, planting thousands of seedlings and getting everything ready for another season of beautiful, locally grown flowers.

The first jonquils are flowering, with daffodils, anemones and ranunculus just beginning to bloom. Every week from here, there’ll be something new to look forward to.

We’re still only at the very beginning, but it won’t be long before the farm is bursting with colour again and bouquets are back in full swing.

We’ve got a few exciting things planned this season too, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Here’s to another season of flowers. 💛

Last flowers until spring 🌿

We honestly thought the season was done.

But after so many messages asking if we’d have flowers for Mother’s Day (and with the warm weather hanging around… well, not so much the last couple of days 😅) we’ve decided to do one final little pop-up market this Saturday.

We’ll be bringing a small amount of fresh flowers and bouquets for Mother’s Day, along with some of our dried pieces too.

Very limited numbers this time round — once they’re gone, they’re gone for real.

If you’re hoping to grab flowers, come down early so you don’t miss out 💐

That’s a wrap on the season 🌿

A big thank you to everyone who came by markets, bought flowers or supported us this season — it means a lot.

With the colder nights setting in, the garden is slowing right down and we’ll be taking a break over winter.

We’ve got a few things in the works for next season too — we’ll share more soon

We’ll be back with fresh flowers in early spring (hopefully August, if nature plays along) 🌸

Fresh bouquets, straight bunches and a small selection of dried pieces — all grown here on our Nicholson farm.

If you’ve been meaning to grab some, this is it until spring 💛
