We've had a lot of questions over the past few days, so we wanted to provide an update to our loyal customers, suppliers and partners.

This isn't a message we ever hoped we'd have to write.

On Thursday 9 July, eBev Pty Ltd entered Voluntary Administration and WLP Restructuring was appointed as Voluntary Administrators.

While this is a necessary step for the business, it is one that gives us the opportunity to restructure and move forward. We are working closely with the Administrators and remain focused on delivering the best possible outcome for our customers, suppliers, employees and stakeholders.

Here's what you need to know:

Our software platform continues to operate as normal. There is no disruption to our software services.

eBev Trade funding has been temporarily paused while the Administrators complete their assessment. We are hopeful this service will be reinstated in the coming weeks and will keep customers updated as soon as we have more information.

Australian Small Batch Spirits continues as normal through our distribution partners, with no interruption to supply.

For more than a decade, eBev has been committed to helping the beverage industry work smarter. We appreciate the support we've received from our customers, suppliers and partners, and we're focused on navigating this process with transparency and professionalism.

Over the past 11 years, eBev has built a leading beverage technology platform, strong industry partnerships and a loyal customer base. As part of the administration process, we are now actively engaged in discussions with parties interested in recapitalising the business. If you'd like to explore this opportunity, please contact Ian, Cassandra or WLP Restructuring directly.

We'll continue to share updates as they become available. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Are you still ordering like it’s 2006?
You're already sitting on years of Beverage Intelligence. You just can't see it yet.

Every week, most venues do the same thing.

Count stock.
Open last week's order.
Change the quantities.
Agonise over what might happen.
Worry about overstocking/ understocking.
Hit send.

Hospitality changes.

One warm weekend.
One local game.
One public holiday.
Seasonal changes.
Everything changes.

Your venue already knows exactly how these things affect demand.

It's hidden in your ordering history.
Your invoices.
Your POS.
Your sales.
Your venue managers operational knowledge.

That's Beverage Intelligence.

Not more reports.

Not more spreadsheets.

A smarter way of understanding your venue, predicting demand and ordering with confidence.

Less guesswork.

More margin.

Because the best operators don't just look at what happened yesterday.

They understand what's coming tomorrow.

Welcome to Beverage Intelligence.

Cut Costs. Not Corners.

What is your time actually worth?
For most venues the margin bleed comes from:
Hours spent ordering
Time lost on invoices
Money tied up in the wrong stock

It’s not just admin — it’s profit slipping through the cracks.

Our calculator shows you:
• Time you get back
• Wages you recover
• Savings from smarter buying
• Your real weekly gain (after $10/week)
Most venues are surprised by the number.
Some don’t realise how much they’ve been leaving on the table.

$500M is wasted in the Australian beverage industry every year.
Not all of it is stock.
It is mostly time.

Ordering.
Invoices.
Price checks.
Supplier mistakes.

Most venues lose 5+ hours every week to procurement admin.
That’s wages.
That’s margin.
That’s management time disappearing into spreadsheets and emails.
Small inefficiencies compound fast.

So we built a calculator to expose the real cost. Try it to see:
• Time recovered
• Wage savings
• House-pour opportunities
• Weekly profit gain

Most venues are surprised by the number.
Because the real leak usually isn’t product.
It’s process.

What will YOU do with your spare time?

Most venues don’t realise how much time and money they’re losing.
Ordering.
Invoices.
Fixing mistakes.
Chasing suppliers.

It adds up to 4–6 hours every week — quietly draining wages and margin.
That’s time your team could be spending on the floor, with customers, or actually growing the business.
Across Australia, it’s costing the industry hundreds of millions each year.
And most of it goes unnoticed.

We built a simple way to see it.
Run the numbers yourself → https://zurl.co/pmva8

Intelligent ordering isn’t just fixing admin.
It’s saving margin.

eBev’s edit for March and April is here. Here are the stories that impacted our industry the most.

Operation Eclipse has revealed a disturbing rise in organised crime targeting Melbourne’s hospitality and alcohol industry, with linked incidents including restaurant firebombings, shootings targeting venue owners’ homes, and the arson attack on a major alcohol distribution warehouse. Police allege more than 20 attacks are connected, raising serious concerns around venue safety, supply chain disruption and the growing influence of criminal networks within the sector.

Australia Attractive for Global Investors.
Tilray has acquired BrewDog’s Australian operations, including venues and production.
Australia remains a key growth market for global beverage groups, especially in craft and premium.
Expect more consolidation and competition but also more investment into venues and brand experiences.

RTD’s takeover the bar.
Ready-to-drink beverages are booming in pubs and bars, now worth over $2.5B and growing fast in on-premise. RTDs aren’t a side category anymore — they’re becoming core to how people drink on a night out. Which means venues need to stay on top of pricing, new brands and supplier options.
Aussies are shouting fewer rounds.

One in three Australians say they’re buying fewer rounds at the pub as prices rise. Social drinking habits are shifting, becoming more selective. Value, occasion and experience matter more than ever and when every drink choice matters, so does every purchasing decision.

Beer Pours not passing the Pub-Test.
A national undercover government audit in October of 436 licensed venues found nearly one in three drinks served in Australian pubs failed to meet legal measurements, raising concerns around compliance, customer trust and lost margin. In a tighter market, small operational inefficiencies add up quickly — making consistency and control more important than ever.

The industry is shifting.
People are drinking differently, and supply chains are evolving. Look out for the next edit in July.

That’s right, $500 million in wasted capital every year. It’s the 5 hours a week most venues don’t realise they’re losing.

Ordering stock
Reconciling invoices
Checking prices
Fixing supplier errors

For many venues, beverage procurement quietly eats 4–6 hours every week.

That’s wages.
That’s margin.
That’s time your team doesn’t get back.

Across Australia, over $500M is lost each year to inefficient ordering and wasted stock.

Small inefficiencies.
Big impact.

That’s why we built our savings calculator.
It shows:
• Time saved
• Wage savings
• Smarter house-pour opportunities
• Your weekly gain (after eBev’s $10/week cost)

Most venues are surprised by the number.

Intelligent ordering isn’t just about convenience.
It’s about protecting profit.

The Digital Shift: How Specialist Suppliers like 7000 Islands are experiencing growth through Intelligent Ordering

Selling into the licensed beverage market has never been simple. Founder Siegfrid Gueco Bacani (Siggy) has continued to grow their brands like Ube Cream Liqueur nationally by using intelligent ordering. In the tough market conditions, Siggy has pivoted into digital tools that support their growth by helping them improve service, reduce friction, and deliver better value to their customers.

Their partnership with eBev is one example of this commitment:
A shared focus on simplifying workflows, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting venues more effectively through aligned innovation.

“I've worked across all platforms from Endeavour Marketplace, to Shopify, Paramount Marketplace, ALM Connect and eBev is, by far and away, the easiest, accurate and most intuitive ordering platform for processing of trade orders. What's a delight is the accuracy in which LUC and GST is recorded, along with units and cases, and the dynamic nature of discounts and delivery fees - are perfectly integrated into our Vinsight sales management system and Xero accounting software. It's hard to make layers of complexity feel this simple but Matthew and the team at eBev have done it and are continuing to improve it.”

The Supplier Pain Points
• Manual order intake slows down operations
• Emails and spreadsheets create avoidable errors
• Logistics bottlenecks strain relationships with venues

Digital Tools Changing the Game
At eBev, we’re helping suppliers digitise and streamline:
Order Management Integration – Push orders directly into delivery workflows
SaaS Solutions – Manage customers, pricing, and sales channels in one place
eBev Trade – Financing and Accounts Receivable services

Why It Matters
Suppliers who embrace digital aren’t just adapting — they’re leading with a competitive advantage.

We’re proud to support suppliers like 7000 Islands who continue to invest in innovation, even in challenging times. Their commitment to better service and smarter operations reflects where the industry is heading.

eBev's Edit for Jan & Feb is here. Here’s what happened.

Scheduled increases to spirits excise rates were implemented, while beer excise, for kegs only, has remained frozen. The industry debates as producers face higher tax burdens.

The Riverland kicked off 2026 Harvest.
Australia’s largest wine grape producing region experienced prolonged high heat, accelerating grape ripening and complicating harvest timing forcing tough picking calls and putting pressure on growers.

Margaret River commits to climate.
The region became the first in Australia to commit to lightweight wine bottles cutting glass, freight weight and carbon. eBev will be looking at surfacing these kinds of credentials to help buyers make impact-informed decisions.

Suntory Oceania opens production hub.
Beverage production has commenced at the new $400 million Ipswich manufacturing facility. The 17-hectare plant is powered by renewable energy and produces a wide range of products — from RTDs and premium spirits — and is a distribution hub for more than 40 brands. These categories accounted for a huge 24% of volume transacted on eBev last year.

Victorian bushfires.
Wineries and family producers lost homes, vines and entire vintages. It is devastating and the effects will be felt for years. For many, it’s not just stock — it’s generations of work. The industry is rallying around affected communities as they rebuild.

From climate and community to smarter production, the industry is adapting to a future where efficiency and environmental performance go hand-in-hand with commercial success. Watch for the next eBev Edit soon.
