Your 3am wake-up isn't bad luck. It's biology.
Sleep isn't just hours in bed. It's rhythm, light, stress and blood sugar, all working together, or all working against you.
Our top tips to improving your sleep quality:
1. Same wake time, every day ⏰
Weekends included. Your circadian rhythm doesn't take days off.
2. No caffeine after 2pm ☕️
Caffeine takes 5–6 hours to leave your system. That 2pm coffee is still working at 10pm.
3. Get outside in the first hour ☀️
10–20 minutes of morning light regulates melatonin and cortisol.
4. Screens off by 8pm 📵
Blue light delays melatonin. Give yourself a real wind-down window.
5. Don't skip protein at dinner 🥩
Blood sugar crashes overnight are behind more 3am wake-ups than people realise.
Save this for the next time your sleep needs a reset.
