Pinch me! I got to talk to one of my forever heroes, Naomi. The legendary founder of Red Balloon and the wisest shark from the Australian Shark Tank 🥰

Nothing is very foreign once you’ve tasted it.

My first job was with IBM in New York, and my flatmate was Colombian.

The world got a whole lot smaller.

That memory came back during my Handpicked conversation with Gilava Pour, founder of Exotic Bazaar. She believes social cohesion starts at the dinner table, and she’s on a mission to get Australians cooking Middle Eastern food once a week. Middle Eastern Monday!

We also got into the practical stuff: when to bring manufacturing in-house, why cash flow matters more than your P&L, and how to get customers to help you win over supermarket buyers.
