Are you ready, Athabasca? 🎪🍿🍭

You’ve fallen in love with our fresh kettle corn, so we decided it was time to sweeten the deal! We’re excited to bring our homemade cotton candy to the Athabasca Farmers Market!

Tomorrow, we’ll be handing out samples of our two delicious flavours: Blue Raspberry 💙 and Pink Vanilla 💗. And here’s the catch… we’ve only made 40 sample bags, so you might want to hop in the car and get to the market before they disappear faster than cotton candy on a hot day! 😂

We’re becoming your one-stop shop for all your carnival favourites—crispy, crunchy kettle corn and fluffy, sugary cotton candy all in one place!

Well, the vendor lineup may have been a little smaller today, but WOW… The attendance was still fantastic!

What more could you ask for? ☀️ Sunshine, 🎶 live music, a great lineup of vendors, and plenty of reasons to wander around the riverfront pretending you’re “just looking” before inevitably buying something! 😆

🚨 Only 2 more sleeps! 🚨

This Saturday, the Athabasca Farmers’ Market is taking over the Riverfront from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and trust us—you’ll want to be there!

Come check out all the amazing local vendors. Whether you’re looking for fresh baking, handcrafted treasures, tasty treats, or something you didn’t know you needed until you saw it… we’ve got you covered!

Bring the kids along for our Scavenger Hunt happening throughout the market. It’s fun for them… and it might just buy you a few extra minutes to shop in peace! 😄

It’s hard to believe there are only 8 outdoor markets left before we pack up and head indoors to the Multiplex for the fall and winter season. Summer markets disappear faster than a bag of fresh kettle corn, so don’t wait until next week and say, “We should’ve gone!”

Come support local, catch up with friends, enjoy the riverfront, and maybe even leave with more than you planned to buy. (Let’s be honest—that’s usually how it goes! 😂)

Still in shock from yesterday’s market! 🤯 In all my years of doing markets, that had to be one of the busiest I’ve ever seen. I’m talking lineups… walkways packed with people… and an electric atmosphere! I think half the town decided they needed kettle corn at the exact same time! 😂🍿

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this long weekend such an amazing one. Your support means the world to me, and I truly appreciate every single one of you!

After doubling production for yesterday’s market, we’ll be back next week with even more kettle corn to help feed those cravings (and hopefully stay one step ahead of the lineup! 😉).

Another fantastic day at the Athabasca Farmers’ Market!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support Kernel Craze today. We truly appreciate every single one of you, and we can’t wait for many more sunny Saturdays together!

Just a little note I’d like to share. A few people have been disappointed when we’ve sold out early, and believe me—I wish I had a popcorn crystal ball! Unfortunately, I don’t. Since I’m committed to serving the freshest, best kettle corn possible, I have to estimate how much to make based on past sales, the weather forecast, and a whole lot of educated guessing. Some Saturdays I’m a genius… and some Saturdays I’m standing beside an empty popcorn display wondering what just happened!

The number of people at the market can change for so many reasons, so even with careful planning, it’s impossible to predict exactly how much we’ll need.

If you’re planning to stop by later in the day and want to make sure you don’t miss out, send me a message on Facebook or text me at 780-689-9519. I’ll be more than happy to set some aside for you.
