I'm not sure if summer will ever truly arrive, but we're jumping on the fact that it's not calling for rain tomorrow. We will be OPEN tomorrow (June 13th) for drop in pony rides and trail rides from 11am to 5pm. Check out our pinned post for a list of prices and other info 😀 we still have some barn renos and fencing to work on so we won't be open every day yet, but we couldn't wait any longer to see y'all again 🤠

Please note:
🪖 ALL riders are required to wear helmets. We recommend you bring your own, but we do have some on hand.

🐶 Pets are allowed, but they must be on a leash since we have free range animals.

🛻 DRIVE SLOW when on our property, which starts as soon as you turn off the Botwood Highway. Park in the open gravel parking lot and walk around to see the animals or go to the barn.

💲Cash only on site since we dont have reliable cell service or internet at the barn. You can etransfer ahead of time, just send us a message for the email address.

🚬 Smoking is allowed, but we ask you to please be courteous of other visitors (and us). Most importantly, DO NOT THROW BUTTS ON THE GROUND. We don't want animals eating the butts and there's always a risk of starting fires with the dry grass and hay around. Thank you for your cooperation 😊

This next little sweet is Sparks! He's the newest member of the herd, arriving about a month ago. We thought our two mini girls would be happy to have a man their size, but I think they started singing some Shania Twain because they weren't impressed much 🤣 that didn't bother Sparks because he thinks he's a full sized stallion in charge of the whole herd anyways 💁‍♀️ he's obsessed with Bella, the bay mare behind him in the first picture. And in the second picture you can see little Sparks watching over his napping herd. He is another in your pocket type, he'll follow you around and chew on your pocket looking for treats lol Sparks is 18 years old and will hopefully live a long and happy life here with his ladies 🥰

This little lady is Ruby (formerly Star) and she is the sweetest little thing. She immediately became a part of the family in such a way that while looking through pictures just now I went "wow, she hasn't even been here a year yet." She arrived in August of 2025 and fit in right away. Ruby and Sadie became best friends pretty quickly, and together they believe they run the herd 😂 it's quite commical to see them bossing around some of the full sized horses. When Ruby arrived we said perfect, now our son Arloe has his own pony. And just like how Sadie and Astrid match with their fiery personalities, I think Arloe and Ruby will develop a great bond with their quiet and sweet personalities 🥹 Arloe has only sat on horses a few times since he is only 2, and as far as we know Ruby is only 2 so she is still growing and will need to be trained over the next couple years to be ready for him 🤠

Starting off small but spitey - I mean mighty 😂 the darker of the 3 minis we have, little Sadie is a very strong willed pony and the perfect match for my daughter Astrid. Sadie arrived on the farm when Astrid was about 4 months old, so she has grown up knowing Sadie is her pony. Watching their bond grow the older Astrid gets melts my heart 💗 we don't know much about Sadie's past aside from the fact that she had many homes before finally arriving here. We estimate her age to be around 8 or 9, and after being here for 4 years she has slowly learned to trust people after a lot of TLC 🥰 now she is a spoiled, in your pocket pony and we hope she gets to live a long and happy life here with us

Sorry for the radio silence! We have ran in to a lot of obstacles this spring between weather, never ending fencing and the hay shortage that the whole island has been facing this past winter. My focus has been fixing fencing and finding hay to get us through until the local farmers are able to bale this years hay. We are booking a few lessons and trail rides here and there when time allows, and we hope to be open full swing in a couple weeks. Until then I'm going to try to be more active, posting pictures and info of our herd 🐎 🥰 thank you for your patience 💗

🌧 All of this rain is going to delay our start date. Some years I'm lucky enough to start up during May long weekend but not this year. The trails are still muddy as it is, and now we have a lot of rain today and rain in the forecast for this weekend. Hang tight, we'll be up and running soon 🤞 and until then, you're always welcome to visit 💗 just remember to park in our open gravel parking area and walk around to see the animals 😀

Happy Canada's Agriculture Day! I am a third generation farmer raising the next generation 🥰 both sets of my grandparents were farmers so it was great growing up, having two farms to visit. Then as i got older i moved to my mom's parent's farm and developed a passion for this life. Although my grandparents and mom are gone, my passion for the farm remains and i carry on their legacy. Days like today, the 10th Canada's Agriculture Day, give me the opportunity to reflect on how lucky i am to live my dream every day.
