Such a big store with all your Asian beauty and skincare needs! Very cool in store services that are unique to this store only!

The skin analysis was so helpful, helping me find products that are meant for my skin type and target specific concerns on the spot. I always struggle with recommendations and skincare has been such a trial and error for me, this helped out a lot!

Halal Korean food in Calgary!

Checked out SOT after finding out they have Halal beef bulgogi at Taste of Calgary!

Such a beautiful space in the heart of Inglewood. We tried a variety of dishes and it was definitely one of my favourite meal experience recently! Lots of veggie sides to pair with your mains, the soy braised tofu was excellent. The rice stole the show- seriously haven’t had rice that tasted this good! It’s made in their homemade beef broth. The artic char has the perfect lemon hint and the bulgogi was ofc 10/10z

New Pan Asian Restaurant in Calgary with Halal options!

Guy Fieri approved Namo Bistro now has a sister restaurant, Wok & Co. You already know Namo is a personal favorite, and the menu at Wok & Co did not disappoint with focus on flavours from around the Pacific Rim!! I’m obsessed with their Angus Brisket Bowl and so happy to share the first Halal Ramen in Calgary is on their menu (Thai style).

New Halal Brunch and Dessert Spot in Calgary!

Chocoberry from the UK opened their first Canadian location in Kensington Calgary!

Beautiful space, amazing service, this spot is definitely worth checking out! They have classic English style breakfast, comforting brunch, dreamy desserts, and specialty coffee.

We went for brunch but will be back for desserts because there was so many things I wanted fo try!

Checked out the newly opened Ginsoy in Calgary!

This place was packed with people and honestly I get the hype. Beautiful space, family friendly and the food was delicious. This is a desi fusion Chinese spot and I hear they’re really popular in Pakistan! Full Halal menu.

Main and side dishes have portion sizes for 1-2 people or 3-4 people for sharing. We got their 3-4 people portions.

YYC Food & Drink Experience at the Deane House!

General YYC EXP Information
This event is runs for 17 days (March 13–29) and features more than 115+ restaurants. This is the perfect opportunity to try a new restaurant with three-course meals ranging from $30–$40 for lunch or brunch, $40–$50 for dinner, and $70–$80 for a gourmet dinner.

We went for the $50 dinner menu at the Deane House (Trafford Farm Green Salad, Alberta Steelhead Trout, Roasted Apple Pavlova). It was such a good meal! They also have a great brunch menu offer for $30!

‼️Meat options are not Halal at the Deane House. We for the seafood item and replaced the Sauce Bercy (contains alcohol) with something different.

One of my favorite bakeries in Calgary - Wow Bakery 🎂

They have some Halal friendly options - their chiffon cakes are alcohol and gelatine free. The earl grey and mocha cakes have been a family favorite for years. They’re not super sweet but so light and airy that you’ll want to take seconds and thirds. You can order a whole cake or get slices!
